My long-overdue commission picture for :iconpuff222001:; a kind of companion piece to my previous drawing of Nazerth's Finest, this time also featuring (Simon) Peter. Jesus apparently decided he didn't feel like walking/standing on top of water today. It has nothing to do with the fact that I totally forgot about this obvious Signature Move.

I'm not even a particularly religious person (I'd consider myself agnostic, I suppose), but I firmly believe that Jesus was pretty damn awesome. (Reading Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff has certainly influenced matters, too.)



Dammit, Dreamworks. Why couldn't you make a cartoon about Jesus?!

Lolz, after reading "The Forgotten Ones" by Douglas Ferguson (the nicest author ever in his messages o3o!)and the manga "Saint Young Men" I can't help but like art of Jesus xD.

Your art never ceases to make me happy xD. Just the themes (still stuck on choclate mint/vanilla swirl here)

I took religion quite seriously to the point of almost joining the seminary in my youth :p and honestly, at this point in my life I look at Jesus Christ as just an inspirational character from a collection of old stories nothing more, nothing less.
