This is my theory about how Nathan got that weird beard of his in the season 2 opener. The Petrellis express their emotions through hair.

...It was funny in my mind.

HAHA thats awesome i was wondering about that...i didn't see the season fanale though...(*SPOILERS*)i did kinda find the flying kid kinda creepy though how he was watching her in her room(my geuss is that, that is "her first boyfriend" as described by the creators *goes off to read lattest comic* ( i need my daily shot of geekiness)
